Smallflower pawpaw

The smallflower pawpaw belongs to Annonaceae family.



The smallflower pawpaw is a shrub which are found in woods and floodplains. 

They have small deep red flowers with a strong fragrance. The flowers blooms in February and lasts until April. 


The leaves are around twenty centimeters across. New leaves look different to older leaves as they stand tall and have a vibrant colour. These shrubs also contain fruits which are a green and yellow berry.
