Green house frog

The green house belongs to the Eleutherodactylidae family. 

They are small amphibians 
The red eyes stand out from the mottled brown,orange and red skin, there are brown strips and spots down the back. The head has a black triangle marking. They have a chubby body. The toes are small with webbing in between. 

They are found in places where there is a lot of moisture for example greenhouses and damp leaves, hammocks and sand hills.  They prey on tiny invertebrates. 

Breeding occurs from May to September. The females lays around twenty eggs on land. 

The call is gentle and quiet with inconsistent chirps.
