Obong leaf twinflower Dyschoriste oblongifolia 

Obong leaf twinflower belongs to the acanthaceae family.



The petals are trumpet shaped and contain hair on the stems

It grows up to eighteen inches. The petals are purple and it is in bloom all year round. 


All sorts of animals like this plant, especially bees, butterflies and birds. 

They are found in pine lands and sand hill.
