Brazillian pepper

Brazilian pepper Schinus terebinthifolius

The Brazilian pepper belongs to the Anacardiaceae family. 


They are an invasive shrub seventy thousand acres of land full of the plant, that can grow to thirty feet tall. They can live for thirty years. They have lots of branches covered in leaves and the berries are green but turn to red. 
September through to November flowering happens and by December the fruits as mature and ready to eat. 
The wildlife are the disperses and aid in germination by scarification, the seed is digested but the conditions do not stop germination once the seed is out of the animal.
